NYBBGB Announce Details for Children's Band 20th Anniversary Concert

NYBBGB Children's Band Celebrate 20 Years


The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a spectacular concert on August 2nd, 2024, at the Martin Harris Centre, University of Manchester. This milestone event will feature the talent of guest soloist Daniel Marsh and will be conducted by Lynda Nicholson, both of whom are alumni of NYBBGB.


The Programme

The band, led by Lynda Nicholson, (who is not only a former member or the NYBBGB, but also conducted the Children's Band's first course), is set for a brilliant afternoon of music.


The concert promises a rich and varied programme, showcasing the versatility and talent of the NYBBGB musicians, as well as the concert's featured soloist, Daniel Marsh.

Event Details

The 20th Anniversary Concert of the NYBBGB will take place at 2 pm on August 2nd, 2024, at the Martin Harris Centre, University of Manchester.


It's sure to be an afternoon of extraordinary music, reflecting on two decades of excellence and looking forward to the future of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
