Brand New Entertainment Contest in September 2024

Red Admiral Music Academy announced some very exciting news at their 2024 Test Piece Preview evening on Saturday. If your band is looking for a new competitive performance opportunity with some very generous prize money involved, you're going to want to listen up!

To celebrate their 10th Anniversary, Red Admiral Music Academy are launching a brand new entertainment contest on Sunday the 29th September 2024 and it is open to bands in all sections.

This fantastic event has been supported with sponsorship from Geneva Instruments, The Music Cellar, Newmoon Insurance, and Mercer and Barker Ltd and discussions are ongoing with more potential sponsors.

Alongside an opportunity for bands to showcase their talents, they are also in with a chance of taking home a decent cash prize thanks to a generous prize fund of £16,500.

How to Enter the Red Admiral Entertainment Contest

Date: Sunday 29th September 2024

Venue: St Michael's CE Academy, Astley Road, Chorley, PR71RS

Sections:

• Championship & 1st Section

• Second Section

• 3rd Section

• 4th & Unregistered Section

There is a huge prize fund of £16,500, which will be split equally across the sections. Bands can expect the following prizes across all sections:

• 1st place - £1000 + £1000 Geneva vouchers

• 2nd place - £500 + £500 Geneva vouchers

• 3rd place - £250 + £250 Geneva vouchers

• Most entertaining band - £250 + £250 Geneva vouchers

Alongside these main prizes, there are plenty of additional prizes including best soloist and best section up for grabs too!
